About our summer camps
With a large, bright and fully-equipped gymnastics centre, a big Ninja Warriors room (including our 14-foot tall warped wall!), and an upstairs fencing facility, TRYumph offers the opportunity to experience a unique collection of fun summer activities under one roof!
Participants will get the chance to experience Ninja circuit training, slack lining, cargo net climbing, gymnastics, trampolining, fencing, parachute games, badminton, and long rope skipping throughout the week.

Plus, Wednesdays are Cosmic Adventures Days! We will be heading next door for a fun-filled excursion to Ottawa’s largest and safest indoor playground, featuring over 20,000 sq. ft. of ball pits, slides, tunnels, mazes, obstacle courses and more.

About TRYumph Gymnastics Academy
Open since summer 2018 on Ogilvie Rd., TRYumph Gymnastics Academy is committed to providing you, your family, and the community with top quality gymnastics programs. We strive to earn your trust as professional sports instructors.
The training your child receives at our gym will be positive and the benefits will last a lifetime. Self confidence is built through positive achievement. A sense of accomplishment and self motivation create self worth and value, this promoting a positive mental attitude and developing physical well-being.
Our unique approach comes from the culture that we want to implement, centred around our four core values:
INTEGRITY: We are committed to making a difference in the lives of the kids and the community. We do not tolerate unethical or dishonest behaviour, and we challenge such behaviour as a matter of personal responsibility, regardless of our position in the organization.
RESPECT: We acknowledge and respect differences in each other, and provide a safe, supportive environment in which all individuals and staff are valued, and encouraged to engage in open two-way communication. We treat others the way we would like to be treated. We demonstrate honesty, respect and caring in our work with the children, families and professional systems, as well as with each other. We recognize and honour each child and family’s unique personal and cultural heritage from their interactions with others.
INCLUSION: We recognize that we are stronger and more effective as a team of professionals than as individuals. We support an open, communicative culture in which individuals are encouraged to offer suggestions for improvement. We recognize that diversity is the foundation of our organization and we recognize that differing viewpoints can help us anticipate and solve problems. We strongly believe that teamwork increases our chances for success.
EXCELLENCE: We are committed to the highest standards, continuous improvement in all areas of our work, and to serve our clients. We celebrate our accomplishments, and seek ways to build on them to further the impact of our work. Excellence leads us to challenge ourselves to consistently deliver the highest quality of service to our clients.

About our programs
TRYumph offers a large variety of programs to serve a wide range of interests and ages.
We have Recreational Gymnastics (babies, parent & tot, kinder gym, girls, boys, teen & adult), and Competitive Gymnastics (tryfit, pre-development, compulsory, optional & national) programs.
We have Speciality programs (Ninja zone, tumbling & trampoline, acrobatic, cross-training & private lessons), drop-ins, group visits, and of course camps.
And we have fun and encouraging Intro-to-Fencing programs led by Canadian Olympic Team coach Paul ApSimon – TRYumph’s co-founder alongside Alina Florea, a gymnastics coach of 15+ years at the provincial/national level.
We also offer a Pre-Athlete Program, developed by Olympic coaches Paul ApSimon, John Hawes and Michael Pederson according to Canadian Sport Policy 2012 and Physical Literacy.
Physical literacy gives children the tools they need to take part in physical activity and sport, both for healthy life-long enjoyment and for sporting success, and is a key component of Canada’s Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) program.
