Ottawa Sportspage newspaper

The Ottawa Sportspage is a monthly newspaper devoted to providing a spotlight for local grassroots sports. In our 5+ years of operation, we’ve told over 2,500 stories on high school, university, community club and elite amateur/Olympic sport news that are seldom covered by any other media outlets.

The newspaper reaches an audience of families highly involved in organized sport and is available for pickup at all major sports facilities and other high-traffic areas throughout the city, while SportsOttawa.com and OttawaSportsCAMPS.ca gives us a strong online presence.

We are proud to lead the CAMPS Project along with our partners and look forward to building it further alongside the local sports community.

recLINK & Ottawa Community Housing Foundation

reclinklogo210pxrecLINK is the combination of best practices of recreation-based, and children and youth serving organizations, including the former Social Rec Connect program.

There exist many barriers for Ottawa’s most vulnerable families that make participation in social recreation activities difficult.

Many barriers are rooted in various factors including accessibility, transportation, information, parental engagement, and affordability.

OCHFlogo210pxAs such, recLINK aims to reduce barriers and create links to existing social recreation for children and youth residing in Ottawa Community Housing.
