ABOUT OUR SUMMER CAMPS

Atlético Ottawa Juniors is excited to host several week-long training camps where players will have the opportunity to train with nationally-licensed coaches, with professional and university playing experience, as well as some of the top technical coaches and players in the club, region and province.

Atlético Ottawa Juniors soccer camps are designed to develop a player’s individual skills and help build the confidence needed to enjoy the beautiful game. Players will be grouped with others of similar ability to be challenged to succeed to the best of their abilities.

A focus is put on the technical elements of the game, on speed agility and quickness exercises, as well as small sided games and basic principles of team play.

The Orleans Dome will also be running All Sports Camps for athletes aged U8-U16 (born 2010 to 2018). During the camp, kids will have the chance to play a wide range of both field and court sports including but not limited to soccer, football, frisbee, basketball, pickleball, and volleyball. 

Whether you are a competitive athlete or someone just looking to be active and have fun, this camp will be perfect for all!

ABOUT OUR SUMMER CAMPS

West Ottawa Soccer Club’s fun-filled outdoor camp will offer a week of activities focusing both on the children’s physical literacy as well as their development of soccer skills.

Sign your child up for 1 week, or several weeks, and let them explore the beautiful game with us!

Back by popular demand this year is the WeeWarriors Half Day Summer Soccer Camp for players born from 2021-2019, while WOSC offers full-day camps for players born between 2018 and 2014, which includes a special outing each week to places such as Xtreme Trampoline, Laser Max, Splitsville and the Wave Pool.

WOSC Summer Camps are directed by experienced leaders alongside an energetic team of counsellor-coaches. Many of them are high-level West Ottawa players who have formed lasting friendships from their earliest days together as summer campers and Warriors.

The Thunderbird Golf Academy Camp is a premier opportunity for young golfers ages 7-15 who are dedicated to improving their skills and deepening their love for the game.

This specialized camp offers intensive instruction, personalized training, and unique opportunities to interact with some of the most renowned figures in golf. Under the guidance of a PGA professional, participants will take part in a well-rounded program that covers all aspects of the sport, from technique and strategy to mental toughness and course management.

Special guest appearances and exclusive talks from celebrated golfers will inspire and educate, providing a unique experience that will shape the young golfers’ journey in the sport.

To celebrate their progress and showcase what they’ve learned, each participant will also receive complimentary access to the beautiful Thunderbird Golf Club. They can enjoy a round with their families, sharing their passion and new skills with loved ones in an exceptional golfing environment.

About Orienteering Ottawa

Orienteering Ottawa is a strong community of runners, orienteers, and adventure racers who enjoy the exceptional outdoor spaces in the National Capital region.

Ottawa boasts one of the largest and strongest such communities in Canada. With our 40 year history we remain at once close-knit and welcoming with old friends across the country and new friends joining regularly.

We host dozens of events on our 50+ maps every year for members and newcomers alike. Orienteering is the sport of skilled navigation. The goal is to find a series of checkpoints (called controls) shown on the map, choosing routes both on and off trail to find those checkpoints, and return to the finish.

Participation can be at recreational level, a family experience, or a competitive sport.

It is very important to us that everyone have the opportunity to explore orienteering at their own pace.

Every season, Orienteering Ottawa hosts introductory clinics for those wanting to learn about our sport. We also have adult intermediate and advanced skills programs for the majority of our members and an evening running program which work outs with, often, an orienteering twist.
