ABOUT RIDEAU SPORTS CENTRE

Rideau Sports Centre is an inclusive space and recreation centre open to everyone, located on the banks of the Rideau River (1 Donald St. at the Adawe Footbridge). We connect the community through sport, wellness and leisure in the heart of the city.

RSC is a place to connect.
RSC is a place to play.
RSC is a place to relax.
RSC is a place to rejuvenate.

We hope RSC will be your Recreational Home.

RSC is situated on the land of the former Rideau Tennis Club which has been an Ottawa landmark since 1912. Its historic role in the recreational and social life of the National Capital is legendary.

Notwithstanding the devastating Clubhouse fires of 1919 and 2001 and the great flood of 1981, the Club has always rebounded to serve the Capital’s need for a beautiful sport and social centre.

Our vision has been to conserve, animate, and re-vitalize this historic landmark for present and future generations of adults and children.

We have reinvented the property by introducing a vibrant mix of year-round multi-sport, recreation, play and social activities open to the public, while honoring the decades of tennis history.

The Bridge Public House, the incredible onsite restaurant, allows the community to further connect through good food and good times.
