Amberwood Sports Camp is designed around your needs. We cater to everyone, including today’s busy parents and active children. We offer a wide range of sports for children in a fun, supervised environment.

It’s a multi-sport camp that includes includes a taste of everything – soccer, basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, archery, tennis, ball hockey & swimming!

Parents also benefit from the INCLUDED PRE/POST CARE (8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) and LUNCH.

ABOUT OUR SUMMER CAMPS

Here we grow again! As an extension of the Thunderbird Sports Camp in Kanata, the Superdome at Ben Franklin Park is proud to be offering a multi-sports camp for children between the ages of 5-12 years old for our third year this summer!

The camp at Ben Franklin builds off TMSI Sports Management’s highly popular multi-sports formula that has helped us become the largest summer camp provider in Ottawa’s west end.

Daily lunches, pre AND post care are all included in the fee!

Join us for an action packed week of fun including soccer (both outdoors and in our indoor sports dome), indoor golf on our range, water games, basketball, field hockey, volleyball, football and beyond!

We have fun and stay active rain or shine, all week long!

ABOUT OUR SUMMER CAMPS

Ottawa TFC Soccer Club is excited to host several week-long training camps where players will have the opportunity to train with nationally-licensed coaches, with professional and university playing experience, as well as some of the top technical coaches and players in the club, region and province.

Ottawa TFC soccer camps are designed to develop a player’s individual skills and help build the confidence needed to enjoy the beautiful game. Players will be grouped with others of similar ability to be challenged to succeed to the best of their abilities.

A focus is put on the technical elements of the game, on speed agility and quickness exercises, as well as small sided games and basic principles of team play.

ABOUT OTTAWA TFC SOCCER CLUB

In late 2018, the Cumberland United and FC Capital United soccer clubs brought together our storied histories of 20+ years apiece on the local soccer scene, merging together to become Ottawa TFC.

Ottawa’s only full MLS affiliate club is the newest regional satellite club for Toronto FC – the Major League Soccer giants who won the 2017 MLS championship and came a penalty kicks shootout away from reaching the FIFA Club World Cup.

Together, our organizations will work closely to build a model professional player pathway and soccer development partnership. TFC will help enhance all of the Ottawa club’s technical programming, including coaching development, sports science, methodology, curriculum development, while providing players a direct path to TFC and its Academy.

Ottawa TFC Soccer Club offers the full pyramid of soccer programs – from the grassroots level where players get their first touch on the ball, right up to our “revolutionary” after-school elite academy and Central/East Ottawa’s only Ontario Player Development League provincial-level program, plus the adult and 60+ ranks.

OSU offers many camps options for young players, ranging from our First Kicks Camp to unique opportunities to train under international coaches from some of the world’s best professional clubs.

OSU’s Camps provide a fast-paced, fun exposure to the most popular sport in the world. Soccer sessions emphasize fun games & drills, focusing on motor development, foot-eye coordination, passing, shooting and dribbling the ball, while also introducing the concepts of teamwork and cooperation.

OSU also has speciality camps for various positions including goalkeeper and striker, as well as competitive and academy high-performance options. OSU International Camps bring some of the world’s top instructors to Ottawa for training sessions run by coaches from famed clubs such as Atlético Madrid, Liverpool, Everton, Manchester City and Hibernian of Scotland.

About our programs

OSU runs programs for players as young as U3 through to adult ages. Our highly-regarded developmental programs serve the U3-U8 age groups, while U9-U18 players can take part in youth recreational play, while adults enjoy both recreational and competitive league options.

Young players can also access advanced grassroots and pre-academy programs to prepare them for competitive play in our renowned Force Academy elite/competitive youth programs.

We are a leader in meeting the needs of the serious and talented soccer player. OSU’s Centre of Excellence offers additional training opportunities to produce technically gifted players who can realize their potential and reach for the sport’s highest levels.

OSU also promotes local, provincial, national, and international competition opportunities through contacts and affiliations with Canadian Universities, U.S. Colleges, and affiliations with International and Professional clubs.

Our programs are run under the direction of staff with some of the highest levels of certification possible,  and who are trained in instructing specific age groups with appropriate skills.

OSU is one of a small handful of clubs to receive franchise permits for the province’s new high-performance youth league, the Ontario Player Development League, thanks to our high standards for facilities, coaching, administration and organizational financial stability.
